See Dan's note... RCI and on sale. I don't know anything about those two you are looking at other than I recognize the name-assuming they are not the fabricator, but simply sell the product (no worries or implied insult if I am wrong...)

I used .250 DOM at 1.75", but I don't think that is typical. I would definitely do DOM though. Mig is fine-better if you don't have an expert with TIG welding it together.

Personally I would have MIG construction. ER70 vs ER80 for TIG (wire) won't be enough to make a difference, but the welder certainly will and if they are just mass produced you will be better off with MIG. My opinions here, so take with a grain of salt and do your research.

I have the 5 degree with the top plate.
    That's what the wife wanted.
There are a few of us running RCI. Everyone seems happy with them. Mine survived some hard hits in Moab.

Also taking the back way out of Hell's Revenge involved some hard hits while @Stoney Ranger was spotting and filming at the same time. Or he thought he was filming.:D

    But it was fun.

looks like Cali raised is barely 1/8" thick @ .120
RCI at 3/16" wins for durability.

@RCI-Offroad 20° no top plate on my truck. They are solid and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Had a bit of a shipping snafu, but that was mostly the fault of FedEx.

I also have the 4x Innovations (bolt on) sliders. Made in Wisconsin and plenty beefy enough for me. You have to paint them yourself though.

RCI would be my next choice. Those Wescott ones look good too. Cali Raised nah.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Cali raised are good for show, and not much else. (Unless you like Chinese patent rip off designs. They are known for that)

Did a brief stent in GT3 racing. I'm confident in cornering in my lifted truck without a sway bar at 60 plus miles an hour. You do get body lean. But you'll learn what it feels like when a tire actually starts lifting with the suspension. That being said, if you don't drive like a pissed off teenager, not having the sway bar is definitely the way to go.

Can confirm RCI are durable as all get out. Mine have survived a lot of learning and a lot of stuff that would have broken anyone else's armor.

I'm a big fan of what works and doesn't break the bank.
Thinking swaybar is coming off before next year. I like to think it would help eliminate some jolting/jarring that come with bumps.
