I found the platinum ibdrove way better then my taco. Maybe it depends on the trim level

I only tested a used SR5 with the shorter cab, the higher trims with leather that I just sat in seemed like they would offer more comfort. Too rich for my blood though.

At least if I spend SR5 Tundra money on the Tacoma I get all of the bells and whistles

I'm sure the new Tacoma seats are better then the current ones

I actually like the current ones except for the front of the seat not going high enough to support my thighs. So I am sure I'll love the position of the new one.

The two I test drove had the Softex, one Pro, the other SR5 TRD OR. Not cheap!

Finding SR5s with the Softex in the low 50s…not exactly cheaper either, still think it is better deal than the Tacoma since you’re getting more truck. Believe waiting a year and seeing how it all pans out isn’t a bad idea.

The SR Tundra seems like the best deal out of all of them, can’t find one anywhere. Not even sure they exist in reality, only on the website to state the “starts at price”.

I think prices will come down with inflation, I feel it's 10k too expensive

If sales slow , let's put it this way . I get a deal through work but only on Ford ,dodge and GMC /Chevy. My boss was test driving as he wants a new vehicle. He was quoted 15000 off the price of a Tremor and Denali ....that is some large mark ups

Toyota isn’t lowering the Tacoma MSRP price. And the dealers rarely discount more than 10% off MSRP.

Toyota priced Tacomas so there was enough of a gap below for the stout.

The point of my post went over your head . If the tremor has 15k built on top of the dealer invoice just imagine how toyota has built it . If sales slump they have room to move

It didn’t go over my head. The new car market is pretty fucked up.

I agree. Had that same though myself after they released the pricing. It erased my doubt that there was a smaller than Tacoma truck coming.

    There’s not $15,000 markup on a Tremor.

The “adjusted dealer pricing” will most likely go away. Toyota never offers incentives though, like the Big 3 does.

    Margins are fairly tight.

They stopped making the ford ranger tremor for 2024 @wastingTime34 so I doubt there will be a 2025
