This one seems stupid as an upgrade but for me it’s so awesome that I can put and remove my iPhone with one hand and I can tilt it without futzing around with the pressure.

 

Got my PowerTray and a fuse block mounted. It’s not its final form, but it’ll do for now.

Did not do it "to" my Tacoma but rather will be for my Tacoma. Bought a mostly finished off road trailer to build out with my RTT and systems to get my camp gear out of the back of the truck in boxes.

 

I do like variety but I always find myself enjoying more a nice IPA. But yes I agree some are better to enjoy at home for the reasons you mentioned

 

From another forum. Thought you guys would get a kick outta this

Oil change instructions

1. Wait until Saturday, drive to auto parts store and buy a
   case of oil, filter, kitty litter, hand cleaner and a
   scented tree, and use your debit card for $50.00.
2. Stop to buy a case of beer, (debit $24), drive home.
3. Open a beer and drink it.
4. Jack truck up. Spend 30 minutes looking for jack stands.
5. Find jack stands under kid’s pedal car.
6. In frustration, open another beer and drink it.
   Place drain pan under engine.
7. Look for 9/16 box end wrench.
8. Give up and use crescent wrench.
9. Unscrew drain plug.
10. Drop drain plug in pan of hot oil: splash hot oil on you
    in process. Cuss.
11. Crawl out from under truck to wipe hot oil off of face
    and arms. Throw kitty litter on spilled oil.
12. Have another beer while watching oil drain.
13. Spend 30 minutes looking for oil filter wrench.
14. Give up; crawl under truck and hammer a screwdriver
    through oil filter and twist off.
15. Crawl out from under truck with dripping oil filter
    splashing oil everywhere from holes. Cleverly hide old oil
    filter among trash in trash can to avoid environmental
    penalties. Drink a beer.
16. Install new oil filter making sure to apply a thin coat
    of oil to gasket surface.
17. Dump first quart of fresh oil into engine.
18. Remember drain plug from step 11.
19. Hurry to find drain plug in drain pan.
20. Drink beer.
21. Discover that first quart of fresh oil is now on the
    floor. Throw kitty litter on oil spill.
22. Get drain plug back in with only a minor spill. Drink
    beer.
23. Crawl under truck getting kitty litter into eyes. Wipe
    eyes with oily rag used to clean drain plug. Slip with
    stupid crescent wrench tightening drain plug and bang
    knuckles on frame removing any excess skin between knuckles
    and frame.
24. Begin cussing fit.
25. Throw stupid crescent wrench.
26. Cuss for additional 5 minutes because wrench hit truck
    and left dent.
27. Beer.
28. Clean up hands and bandage as required to stop blood
    flow.
29. Beer.
30. Dump in five fresh quarts of oil.
31. Beer.
32. Lower truck from jack stands.
33. Move truck back to apply more kitty litter to fresh oil
    spilled during any missed steps.
34. Beer.
35. Test drive truck.
36. Get pulled over: arrested for driving under the
    influence.
37. Truck gets impounded.
38. Call loving wife, make bail.
39. 12 hours later, get truck from impound yard.

Money spent:
Parts: $50.00
DUI: $2,500.00
Impound fee: $75.00
Bail: $1,500.00
Beer: $20.00
TOTAL: $4,145.00

Pretty sure a dui is a lot more these days but yea that’s a funny story and I’m sure a lot of us can relate on a number of these types ccurances

Gosh darnnit!!! Did you just go and make this "just another 'oil change' thread"?!?!?

 

Bleed procedure went pretty good. Nothing too bad. I had my bleeder hose pop off and I had to start over basically. I use the Honda part too.

 

Installed the utility track towards the cab and added Quick Fist mounts on the driver’s side. Wicked exciting stuff.

 

OK that’s pretty cool right there not gonna lie

 

I’d like to see one of these receivers in person to maybe reverse engineer a ‘light duty’ version. The main reason for me wanting this is to run my rod/cooler rack on the front of my truck instead of the rear. Wouldn’t have to be that strong. Not so much for winch duty. Really wouldn’t want to trim my new skid.
