    That and the Eagles loss combine to cement the #1 seed for the Niners. Now that was unexpected! Nobody can now do better than match records and that won’t do it. They hold either head to head or better conference record. Good news for the Rams I guess since they’ll see a lot of Sam Darnold.

    Let’s also not forget the refs called the tripping penalty against not only the wrong person but the wrong team.. that set Dallas up for a 2nd and 25 prior to the lions final drive. Had it not been for that, I don’t think the lions would have even got the ball back again.

    it was a brutally ugly way to win, but it’s a fucking win.

    and now all we need to do is beat the commanders and we will have the number 2 seed

    Well it was ugly, but that’s 8 straight AFC West titles! And Andy’s first 3 years they were 2nd (couldn’t beat Manning and the Donkey’s during their Super Bowl runs). I’d like to say it’s time to see if Mahomes can win a road playoff game but I’m not sure we win the first home one. Likely the Bills / Dolphins loser coming to town. Kinda want Miami as they are a bit beat up after today.

    Let's also not forget the numerous missed holding calls as Hutchinson is routinely held. Had Detroit gotten the sack/safety instead of a Dallas 93 yd TD, or Detroit kicked a FG earlier in the game, or Dallas not thrown the ball instead of running to eat clock, this conversation wouldn't be happening. But none of those things happened and this conversation is being had. The outcome is still the outcome.
