Upgraded bypass pipe solution for coolant leak?

Hey guys, I'm concerned with my 20 offroad having the dreaded coolant leak behind the engine in the bypass. I just paid this truck off. And I was wondering if anyone has seen a fix or basically an upgraded bypass pipe if it ever had to be replaced that could be used?

 

Your 5 year 60K powertrain warranty should cover this repair.

You’re worried about about an issue that had been completely blown out of proportion by the internet . Don’t even worry about it

 

Purchase an extended warranty if u are worried about it .

So you had the problem which sucks, doesn’t mean the other million 3rd gens will

 

It could be no changing the coolant at 50k miles. The coolant becomes acidic over years and miles.

 

Here's an idea, worry about it when/ if it happens. The amount of preemptive wailing and gnashing of teeth here is astounding!

It’s what the schedule says…replace at 100k. Before that just inspect for leaks. What leads you to believe that replacing earlier is necessary? Let alone 2x as often?

 

I always tend to cut the scheduled maintence in half for preventive measures

 

It’s his truck and he believes what he thinks is right. I’m with him too. No leaks at 90t miles yet. Will change again at 100t miles .
