Average about 15-16 both city and highway. I don’t drive slow though but if I do baby it it gets a little better. Working from home makes you not really notice fuel cost or consumption.

The way I get my fuel economy is I never go faster than 75 MPH and try to keep myself on lower speed roads. I almost never floor the gas and always shift early. I always keep myself in the flow of traffic and keeping proper distance.

I am the killjoy of on road driving. On the dirt, I do differently.

Living in the west with speed limits of 80mph the freeway and road trips are where I see the worst mileage. If I go 70 it’s much better though.

    Where yous be ats?

For me, in winter I get ~10% less mpg due to cold and winter blends. 18-19 right now. Not sure if the Tundra reacts the same. If you're in a warm enough area not a concern for you.

Not sure how you're getting 18-22MPG in a 2015 Tundra considering the highway estimate is 17 and most people get below that.

My tacoma varies depending on the time of year, weather conditions, etc. Lately I've been getting 16-19 MPG at mostly 70 MPH. In the summer I will see 20-23 on that same drive with the occasional 24 MPG. Best I've gotten (according to the trip computer) was 26.8 and that was in 4x4....but I was also doing no more than 45 MPH due to weather conditions.

What? Only 45? Over here in VT you are REQUIRED to do at least the max speed limit during bad weather events when you are 4wd capable, since the speed-to-accident ration (also known as the 'Invincibility Quantum Factor') gets inverted....as laid out in Vermont Statute "Sea-132:C-RaP, Ammendment 4:20~~ Subsection Neck, Red"

I always find it is the large and lifted trucks that are in the ditch since the mid-size guys are generally nowhere near as overconfident. We operate on the "I know what I got" mentality.

15-16 mpg. But that's because of bigger tires and a 6" lift (which produces more wind drag). Added a bed rack too.

other than a canopy, my truck is a stock trd sport AC 4x4 6MT. currently at 32K miles. i install AT tires for the winter that are 3PMSF rated. come spring, i put the OE toyo A30 tires back on. in addition to me and the canopy, there is about another 200 pounds of tools and gear in the cab and bed.

i run 87 octane and average 20ish MPG in the winter and 22ish MPG in the summer. most of my driving is on two lane roads with elevation changes and speeds in the 45-65 mpg range.

My Manual 3rd gen definitely gets a couple less MPG's than my automatic. I somehow got 21 on my last tank. Normally get 19 on a good day...

Tacoma off road auto will average about 18-19 stock - I’m pretty sure the tundra will average less for most . As a general rule they can do what ever they want with a smaller motor and things won’t change all that much . Trucks in general are as about as aerodynamic as a brick . Between weight , tires rolling resistance and squareness in dimensions. The only thing that will help is the introduction of the hybrid scenario. But I do think as far as trucks go they are possibly almost topped out mileage wise. Within reason

18-23 mine is a manual . Where u live and type of gas u use will affect it . Not the most fuel efficient vehicle but I knew what I was getting myself into purchasing a truck .

2023 TRD OR long bed auto. Had it since January 23. Anywhere between 16-18 but usually on the lower end. If I run out of gas and the fat chics pushing, mpg be infinite. :anonymous:
