Also, in the market for a low mile 2020+ Trd offroad tacoma DCSB. Ideally, with the safety tech package (not sure of the official name), led headlights and color matched rear bumper. I have searched through thousands of listings and about 80% of them have odd carfax/autocheck backgrounds. Previous accidents, rental vehicles, auction purchases, odd locations ( sold in New Orleans, spent its life in Kansas but shows up at ford dealer in Philadelphia???).
I have found two i am going to look at.
a 2021 with 43,000 miles, $32,900 as a prior lease with maintenance records (Trade-in at a Mega Stelantis brand dealer in Jersey)
a 2021 with 45,000 miles $34,250 and a toyota certified pre-owned. (Trade-in at a Toyota dealer in PA)

Honestly, right now I wouldn’t have been able to convince myself let alone my wife. Once the bank accounts recover from Tent purchase, December spending and the 3 music festivals I am buying tickets for this week, then I would have considered it because of the new frame.

 

Dave Hause sing us home festival first weekend in May down in Philly. Unfortunately it's pretty much IN Philly so can't tent it. But should be a good time.

But I'm in the same unstable canoe as you my friend. Folk fest Tix usually come on sale late February.

 

Ya, not a fan of festivals that I can’t camp at. There are a few festivals that would be cool, but are in cities and that’s not my cup of tea.

The ones I typically go to, you can bring your cooler right into the main stage area, just need to keep things chill.


in June we have ROMP in Kentucky, Bluegrass Fest that will have a Jerry Garcia theme this year, as they are opening a Garcia exhibit at The Bluegrass Hall of Fame, who puts on this festival.

July is Grey Fox in New York, one of the biggest Bluegrass Festivals on the east coast, the first place I saw Billy Strings.

Then we end the summer with a local fest on Labor Day weekend, where we will see Del

I feel ya. Hause is one of my wife's favorite artists, and at the scale I really like. 100-200 head at some shows, random breweries near Boston on a Tuesday night type of thing. I enjoy being able to be 2-3 back from the stage, smaller shows, etc. I don't hate arenas and festival stuff, but it's just a lot sometimes.

I don't bring much with me. One day last year I brought nothing, other than my camelback. That thing's great, I need to get one with a smidge more storage....I have this one, and it works great but the storage is comedically small. It's great for bike rides, fits phone and my key back there, but it's a bit tiny for other purposes
