Maybe next SEMA, my guess is they don’t have enough trucks in production yet to start hacking them up. The X-Runner was it for this go around. The drifter car market seems to be high out there, even though most of us on here probably don’t pay attention. Guy I know builds them and actually makes a living doing so.

Have been plenty of mildly wild show vehicles in the past. Anything from IRS desert runner, to a camper to a sleeper Camry race car.

Of course they do! They want the tried and tested 4.0 that got 14 mpg and made a whopping 207 HP, not that fancy 4 banger that will work itself to death.

All I want for Christmas is a 2024 Xtra Cab with 4WD and rear locker, but Tacoma says NO. I can get an SR5 with 4WD OR a Prerunner with rear locker, but not both. Damn dumb Toyota packages.

Quad cabs are so nice though, especially if you have dogs or want to use the back seat because the box is only 5 feet

True, it did have auxiliary taillights under the tailgate, thought that was only for the Canadian spec versions.

On that list I didn't see an off road for Canada specifically with the quad cab

Found this on their gas mileage video.

Assuming the 6’ are DCs, since TRD and Sport aren’t available in the XtraCab (4WD)

One thing that seems to be common amongst all the reviewers is that the ride quality has improved by an order of magnitude.

A dclb Tacoma is within 6 inches in every dimension from a half ton extended cab. I don’t know why it exists

6 inches in every dimension is alot! The dclb is bad ass.
You can build a 6ft bed sr5 on charlesglen Toyota website. Also the price list i posted a few pages back shows a 6 ft option

That's my point. A 5 ft. box is not enough.

Not my first choice, rather have an access cab. But since that is gone, have been comparing the Tacoma DCLB SR5 to the Tundra DC6.6 SR5. Do believe the Tundra is a better buy.

    https://www.edmunds.com/inventory/srp.html?drivetrain=four wheel drive&extcolor=Gray&inventorytype=new&make=toyota&model=toyota|tundra&options=sr5-premium-package&radius=6000&trim=tundra|sr,tundra|sr5&truckCabSize=Extended Cab Pickup&bedLength=72-83.9&sort=price:asc

That is what she said! :D
