It may be the seal against the windshield on the cowl. There are plastic clips that the hold the seal against the windshield and they become very brittle with time and I think when you remove the cowl they often break. I recently removed mine and noticed that the clips that are the most brittle and likely to break are right above the area where air passes in for the cabin air and filter. I bet water is coming right into the cowl from your windshield.

Ahh didn't think about that. I have the appointment made and the gentleman says he can pressure test it... I'm interested in seeing what that entails.
    Thanks for the info.

I was doing a cowl intake mod and I went to put my cowl back on it would not seal properly. I poured some water on the windshield and it was leaking through. I got it all fixed but check the seal on the passenger side of the windshield. If there is a big gap it might be coming in there right into this. Good luck.

    There are shields for this.

Supposedly the metal around the base of the plenum can develop small cracks as well.

Gave it a bath. Plus I installed a pretty badass emblem, made out of aluminum and painted.

how'd you install the side vents?

by any chance did you simply skip the instructions and drive those screws in by hand

or does it really take going to find the drill, center punch, right angle adapter, etc...

Yes I got a 90° drill bit attachment from Home Depot. I don't think I could have done it without it

That mod is on my list after I get the truck tuned.

Grille upgrade along with the previous headlight update. Also, was able to sort the rando wire in the passenger lamp.
