That sucks! Maybe fish around with a telescopic magnet. Hopefully you find it.

I used a regular magnet and looked around and couldn’t find anything. Rocked the truck and didn’t hear anything. Went down my rough dirt road and hit the brakes a hard a few times. Rocked again and looked around and nothing. I wonder if theres anything concerning that it could have fallen into

If it fell between the cab and bed I don’t think there’s too much to be concerned about. If it didn’t fall out on the rough dirt road it may taken a good bounce and lodged in between the fuel tank and fuel tank skid plate.

Probably the best course of action. If it were the engine compartment, definitely high anxiety  You should be good to go

Appreciate it! I’m not worried, it has to fall out eventually if it hasn’t yet. The gap between the cab and bed is exposed to everything. I see no difference if I were off road and a small rock flew in there, parked under a tree and a nut or something fell in there, etc etc

Thinking about doing the same, but I kinda like protection it gives from salt and dirt spray from drivers in front of me.

There's an old 4Runner driving around somewhere with my 10mm socket somewhere in its innards. That socket is probably in the same place with all the missing socks and pens.

I upgraded the radio to the newest firmware which is from 2/2022. Hopefully I’ll notice some improvement in CarPlay. It had been pretty solid but the last week or so it has been flaky.

I did the update a couple of weeks ago and noticed some improvement with CarPlay and slightly less lag. One thing I noted was I had to pair my phone all over again. o_O
