I hooked mine to 220V. I can't think of anything that could go wrong. This should fix the rotation.

You may have to adjust for friction on deceleration…

When my house insurance was going to be tripled when they found out I was a PIC.
Life insurance would not pay if i was PIC but pay if I was a passenger.
I flew a lot after not filling in my log book.
I got real good at flying and landing from the right seat.

Welcome to the fray, @TenkaraGuy. Love a green AC more than anything. It's what I wanted, but when an elderly co-worker offered me her very low mileage Barcelona Red AC at a very low price...well, my fate was sealed.

I started out with Fluid Film and now use Wool Wax, I find it's a bit thicker, hangs on a little better. Same basic product and with any of them, if you're diligent and keep up with it, I don't believe it matters which you use. Applying it is a mess, at least the way I do it. The entire truck on stands, no wheels, plastic sheeting over the area, in a hooded tyvec suit with a face shield, a compressor and spray gun. Every October. My goal is as yours, keep her as sound as possible and hopefully looking pretty good as well.

I'll never use the word 'investment'. But certainly I can slow the degradation.

I'm fully synthetic with OEM filters and change everytime the light comes on, or as quickly as the weather permits there after. So 5 - 6K. She's needed nothing but filters and fluids and a set of front pads. Next to my '96 Camry 7 pass V6 Wagon (which WAS green), most trouble free vehicle I've ever owned.

Thanks @kidsmoke. You are a beast. I'll have to find a simpler way to do it or a beast to pay. Way above my pay grade!

I appreciate the encouragement. I found mine for sale by a woman in Grand Junction who was retiring from being an outdoor photog. She had used it a bit to cruise around the West. It was perfectly set up for me with the shell + floor-to-ceiling bed rug. All I've had to do is add the racks. It was an okay price, but no great deal. I had to pry the keys from her fingers.

Honestly I don't feel very beast like. It's a detailed job if you want to do it well, and I get anxious just thinking about that amount of detail. It takes nothing but elbow grease to get it on the stands, and then I can spray away with only a bit of care around the engine bay/ wiring harness 'weak' spots. So really it's the lazy mans approach. But it works.

as to your prior owner: in twenty years she'll talk about the "the green tacoma I had...never should have sold' I was at a freinds annual New Years Day Chili pitch in yesterday, guy talking about the '78 Land Cruiser he sold, there was a literal spontaneous moment of silence from the assembled as we considered the alternative. Toyota does have a track record with these trucks.

Although we all agree the new Tundras will never be held in such regard. :deadhorse:
