Already 2024, but Toyota.ca is still selling 2023 on their website.

You are no idiot sir. You are a man that likes to have the latest thing and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Hell, it's in your screen name.

Plus, we all get to live vicariously through you as you take delivery and start putting it though it's paces. The feedback you provide will be from an actual user and not biased by "restrictions" some of the online personas operate under. Your new 2024 thread will be the one everybody reads with anticipation.

I'll try my friend, about to have our first in 9 weeks, full time NP / grad school and full time MICU nurse so my time is limited, but I'll do my best to answer every one and provide feedback.

Well I may not be the first here. Figured as much. Looks like my truck is being built today instead of what I was told / led to believe. Crazy since is a 10/2023 allocation / order. Eh it’ll get here when it gets here.

I didn't notice the flat floor until I saw people discussing it here. I realized the floor was flat, but did not know other trucks don't always have a flat floor.

The Tundra is terrible too. They kind got it right in the ‘24 Tacoma XtraCab, other than that raised cubby, the vertical storage panel does fold down creating a flat surface, however they took away the access doors to make it practical. With a whole new cab design you think they had a chance to make it better, however they made worse.

It is, buying travel trailer so topper won’t work. Unless we get a toy hauler, don’t think my better half will put up with the gas fumes.

Basically what we do is setup base camp, generally ride bikes from there, however there are some trail systems we rather toss the bikes in the back of the truck and drive to.

    One of the guy’s setup.

Lol! But you said just fold the seats up and it will be fine! :p

seat delete would definitely have to happen. Or just buy a F150. :)

That may not be a bad thing after reading up on horrible reviews of the Tundra, and since the 4G Tacoma is a shrunken version of it, and unproven. Probably just holding off and seeing how it pans out.

Like I was telling Turd I have only heard about 22s and that was less then 100 involving an engine or Tran issue. I haven't heard much about the 23, are they having a lot of issues as well?

Those cubbies are so stupid. Hopefully they come out easy. When I see that picture all I think is it might as well be a regular cab.
