I wish I kept track of my miles. I’ve noted down the mileage on the Super Tenere and RC390 so I can keep track going forward.

I would guess I put about 10k on the Versys, 2k on the RC390 and S10 combined and another 2k on the small Hondas for a total of ~14k this year. I mainly commute to/from work and I was funemployed for most of this year so still not a bad amount.

The PA friend of mine who rides every day got me started on doing it. I don't do anything real hardcore to track it. Any day I ride 10 miles or more I just highlight the date in my day-planner at work and end of month put the total days ridden in the bottom corner then just keep a running total. Mileage I have a dry erase board mounted in my garage with a column for each vehicle including her car and my Tacoma to track oil changes, etc. At the bottom of each column I record the year end mileage for each vehicle. Helps me have a visual clue of what needs serviced and when it was last done.

I’ve been pretty diligent about tracking my fuel ups on Fuelly, though looking at it now I seem to have missed one or two on the KTM. :(

I was also using a Beeline Moto tracker to track all my miles but it got a little tiring always having the app running and draining battery.

I’m a little disappointed in myself. I only put 2,100 miles on between the F800GS and Grom. Add in another maybe 100 between the CB750, CT90, and former Navi.

I would have guessed closer to 3,000. Busy year I guess and I didn’t do many long joy rides.

Oh well, putting 60% stiffer springs and 6 bolt clutch basket and lifter plate into the Grom and giving it an oil change today.

Happy new year to my favorite moto group!

Not sure exactly how many miles, but if I had to estimate I'd say I put on about 15k

The 60% springs make the clutch feel soo good.

I really need to ride the Grom again

Really hoping I can finish before I run out of daylight today so I can try it out. Found a newly paved road while doing a christmas light drive a few streets over that’s on a new development area and has no houses on it yet. Figure it’s a perfect place to uh test it out haha.

I go back to work tomorrow and it’s supposed to snow later this week so i’m on a time crunch. And of course filming slows it all down.

    Fingers crossed :fingerscrossed:

I didn’t realize how much filming slows everything down. I’m working on finishing a video where I bedlined my truck and I’m just like “who would watch this?” but I’ve spent too much effort already haha

Or in my case no work and a crappy 20 minute video, lol. I don't edit and just post what I shot raw footage of.

A tip someone told me about and I try to do is when I have a longer vid; after most of the editing it done, put it aside for a couple days, then go back and watch it, you'll often realize the same message can be gotten across in a shorter period of time. Some of the edits are much more obvious when you haven't watched it for a couple days.

Happy new year everyone! I put about 3000 miles on my bike this year. Definitely want to do more in 2024. My last ride was in October unfortunately and I need to do some diagnostic on my bike; I was getting a pretty noticeable shimmy in the front end at low-rpm’s in the last 20-30 minutes of my ride which I’ll take considering I was riding fast and hard for a good 8 hours that day.

You mentioned hitting a track with this? Suspension will be super soft. They are ok for trails, but not really made to take jumps.

Only problem is I'm old school and not real tech savy. I barely figured out how to upload videos from my gopro to the computer and make a video from that. But I can't figure out much of anything else. You have to understand I was born in a time when there was no computers, or cell phones, etc. I have figured out some stuff but a lot of it is above me. Some old guys get it, and some struggle with tech, that's me. So for now I just make crappy videos. I've tried to edit but I just screw everything up. Mechanical things I have no trouble with, tech is another story.
