Buy whatever you want...but the 4 runner does have legendary reliability its kinda in a league of its own. 4 runner is kinda short on bed space though....

Should be called “Chinese billionaire expects American adults with labor rights to work like Chinese sweatshop children with no rights”.

Maybe sales will be just fine, but the bad press and engine failure threads have undermined its historic claim as a reliability king. Without a reliability advantage the Tundra has virtually nothing on the competition.

It should. Felt really bad for them. I am from the Pittsburgh, PA area and have seen first hand when companies pull out of region. The area was quite depressed with the closing of the steel mills. Westinghouse, VW, Sony were big employers too.

    People are tired.

Westinghouse is bringing some manufacturing back (currently building something for them) and the VW plant that was then the Sony plant is now occupied by Siemens for manufacturing and testing.

Pittsburgh is all Ed’s and meds now

I didn't know that Westinghouse existed in any form anymore.

Yup still HQ in the region, still building nuclear reactors. They changed owners a few times recently though

According to the Wiki page, Westinghouse went tits-up in the 2nd quarter of 2000.

Left in the early 90s, back when they were tearing down some of the last steel mills. Dated a girl from Ambridge who’s father used to work at one. Can’t remember the electrical company’s name (probably defunct now) my grandfather used to put up the Christmas tree on the Hornes building back in the 60s and 70s, and maintain the Clark Bar sign, installed a lot of the major department store signs way back when.

Good to hear Westinghouse is doing something. My grandmother had a diesel VW Rabbit that might have been built in the Westmoreland factory, it was painfully slow.

    Neither did I.

I remember they were trying to save Blast Furnace Dorothy in Duquesne to stay as a landmark.

Do you remember Center Street in Duquesne? When I was a kid we had an old Ford Van and my Dad tried to go up in a bad Winter storm, we made it all the way to the freakin' top before getting stuck and having to back down and turn around. Also just happened to be driving along the bottom one of the days they were filming "Striking Distance", they had a big truck with a long extendable boom with a camera on it.

I don’t, Center Street wasn’t on the radar back then, grew up in Greensburg…did commute into the ‘Burgh for art school for 3 years though. Would park at Three Rivers Stadium, and walk across the 6th St bridge to get to school, was sorta close to the Hornes building iirc. Used to go eat lunch down by the point, or over by the PPG building. (Edit: Had to look it up Market Square it is called) Spent a lot of time in Eide’s Records.

    Vaguely remember that.

Kind of ridiculous that the configuration tool is not officially up yet in Canada or the US for that matter. That link doesn't count in my opinion
