    Today I became a 3rd gen owner! IMG_4289.jpg

I had a '15 Super White TRD Sport that I bought new but had to sell after a couple of years. Glad to be back in the double cab. I've still got my 1st gen, although she's very tired!

I feel confident in it! I really want to make it to the 300k club, but I only put around 50 miles a month on it so it might take a while!

It was pretty nice. 2014 Pro4x. I completely rebuilt the front end, put some nice, flexy suspension I packaged with all different components. I M205 titan front diff swapped it with pathfinder V8 axles, onboard air, hidden winch, hefty sliders, complete skids, u-bolt flip, shock skids, diff covers, etc. It looked stock but was pretty capable. I needed a truck bed and the Xterra turned into overkill for something i drive almost 2500 miles/month.
The Tacoma has some of the glitchy electronics everyone talks about. Gauge cluster display screen going out, Main usb connection not working. Shutting the truck off and turned them back on works.

Ehh, not right now. At least not the common mods. I'm going to do some appearance mods (debadged/decals removed, color matched bumper caps, Meso tail kit) and 3rd gen function mods (seat jackers, alum oil filter house housing, KDMax tune, phone vent mount, seat covers for the kid and dog, door sill protectors, gas door cap holder, and Subaru tweeter mod). Now that i type it, that a bigger list

Sounds like a nice 2nd gen. They are fun cars but ya. I was always curious if they kept making them how they would sell in todays market.
Off your list the seat jackets are awesome. If you don’t mind neoprene wet okole are great for everyday beat ups or if you want leather katzin. mesos stuff is great. I’m slowly in the same boat as you and started basically adding everything to my truck he makes.

I have heard a lot of taco owners on here have elected to go with Billstein 5100s. I’m thinking of joining the crowd. Your rig looks great by the way.

Was a week ago but got my OTT tune changed from mild/spicy to the one below it. Definitely got rid of the abrupt/jerky take off from a stop. Now I am looking at trying to figure out how to correct my reverse rake. I never noticed it before but I guess now that the truck has settled some, the rear sits a little lower than the front. I sit on a mild Toytec 2.5 inch (I think) lift that utilized spacers. Best way to add a inch in the rear? Shocks? I need a good solution as I noticed my headlights are hitting more down the road and nothing in front of the truck. I'll look for a level place to park and get a side shot for reference later.

EDIT: Also need to do a oil change - what is everyone using?

Those look great. should be good for light wheeling and they look very functional as full length steps. Looks like they are currently $300 too.

I don't think they would be good sellers. The frontier is selling ok but people are wary of Nissan after all the CVT nightmares. The 4.0/5spd drivetrain was a pretty reliable and a powerhouse compared to toyota, ford, GM, offerings midsize category. Mine could hold overdrive pulling my camper and my 3rd can't hold 6th on flat ground with wind lol. appreciate the feedback though. i want to keep this one a while.
