Hey guys, so my Right turn signal seems to be working off and on. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won’t while driving or in park. I have upgraded to the LED OEM headlights from Toyota and used the harness made by Dave. I also used the rear taillight by morimoto. Haven’t had any issues till recently? Could it be a faulty combo meter? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!

check your connections. normally intermittent issues are a connection issue

What I’ve also found is sometime it will work for a few clicks then stop as well and it’s only the right side. When this happens the Hazard right side doesn’t work either.

When it happens, start unplugging items one by one. Also , pull connectors and inspect for a moisture damage, aka crusties

applying dielectric grease to the connections doesn't hurt either.

UPDATE: This worked. I started with the cheapest part installed and that was the side marker for the side mirror. I unplugged it and it works. Probably shouldn’t have gone with the Amazon ones.

    thank you for this!

    Keep an eye on it...

I had the Meso/Morimoto tail lights and the right turn signal would fail intermittently. I ditched the tails (back to OEM with a stage 1 upgrade) and never had another incident.

Glad you got it solved! And you are right; give up on the Chinenisium lighting to simplify your life.

What’s the stage 1 upgrade? I might go that route.

I have a similar issue with aftermarket (cheap) amber sequential turn signals. I’m going to try this tomorrow.
