Damn that’s good to hear then. When I did directional drilling work out in Texas we were so busy and had so many contracts with operators, we couldn’t hire guys quick enough. We were workin 30-40 days straight before we would get a couple day break. Granted we just sat in a temp trailer all day on location and watched a screen but it took a toll haha. I got out of it after workin almost 7 months with like 20 days off total :frusty:. I’m trying to stay in the Rockies this next go around and hopefully work as a field engineer again or “office” engineer. I hope it stays busy like this. Oil price is about perfect right now. Companies are still turning good profit and it doesn’t hurt too bad at the pump.

    Touché.

anyway, it’s more about how you use it. I can do a lot with only 8” or so of travel.

heckling aside you can do 95 percent of trails in your Tacoma on MTs, especially if you air down and lock one diff..just need a lil seat time and confidence

Come out and wheel here and I'll point ya through anything you'd like

I drove up plenty of 6 or 7 out of ten rated trails on 31s and open/open. Airing down and spotting and self confidence can go a long way

(I'm narcissistic and overly confident when I get behind the wheel :luvya:)

When I was 10 my dad drove my ass out down a trail into the middle of nowhere and told me to drive back.

Did it kick start my wheeling career? Yes
Did I learn tire placement, line choice, and gear choice? Yes
    Did it traumatize me? Yes

Let me do the same for you. You'll be great in no time :D

Holy cross is a no. Maybe if you had zero fucks to give about body damage.

Took a buddy's TJ up there on 32s but he was locked front and rear. Big line that pics make look small and it only gets bigger after here
