What exactly are you looking for? The mount that comes out between the fender and hood?

 

yea, i fab'd one up but not really sure if i like the look of the one i made. So trying to hunt down one made for the tacomas.

 

Your right, the speed is nice, but using it instead of the torque wrench sucks.

You can but the rear will be bouncy so you can lose control a little easier. It won't damage anything, if that's what you're wondering.

 

So why don't you just run the shocks you have now and take them off when you're ready to install the new ones?

 

They don't make one. There is one specifically for Tundras, and the universal one. The universal fits 1st gens pretty nice. I'll let Joe comment on the fit for 2nd gens since I think that's what he did.

Really, the place where I mounted is the only place I know that gives room and keeps things from getting f'd up. I'm just saying that it's incredibly annoying there's no product really made and I wasted over 3 weekends on what should have been an easy project trying to make other things work. It isn't like the old days where the truck hoods were all straight!

Yeah. I've also heard if you can hold a quarter against your fender and drop it, it should fall to the ground without hitting your tire. Thank goodness they don't enforce that completely strictly. I love a little tire sticking out!

 

Dude I'd fail that STOCK lol. Yea, a lot of laws in AZ don't get enforced either that are retarded like that... unless the cop's a dick or you're a dick to him/her.
