I have... 4 old ones? only 2 out of vehicles atm, just gonna put the best one in my D-cab and tear into the new one sometime in the future to see whats up. The PN was indeed the "new" PN not the "reman" PN, that said I have it on very good authority they are no longer making new ones lol.

only thing I could think of is the keeper spring wore out just sitting there, (it is new-old stock) I followed the procedure to re-set pre-load, which did help a ton, but did not replace the spring or check the free height.

 

I'm afraid of the day the junkyard 4Runner rack I'm running right now decides to crap out because even with 35s it steers really precisely. I haven't combined my broken racks into a "reman" yet but I save them so that one day I can. Most of the internals don't look to bad to replace/inspect yourself if you've got the time.

yeah, but they usually check your given email against a known list of social media accounts and forums to see what you're up to. A lot harder for them to find it without

Some people have too much time on their hands. If one of you annoyed me the last thing I'd do is spend hours combing through your post history for identifying details.

I really limit my public posts on IG/FB for that reason, unless it's just between friends/family. Trolls with nothing better to do than dox people for laughs abound on the internet.
