BakFlip Revolver X4S Adaptability For Bed Rack

Hello everyone!

Long time lurker here and have learned lots. I was wondering for anyone out there who has the BakFlip Revolver Tonneau Cover, what bed rack with adapter brand have you gone with and why? Pics if possible would be great! Thank you all in advance!

 

What did you end up going with? Im having the same question.

I started with a KB Voodoo rack with tonneau brackets. Worked really well.



Then I switched to an Xtrusion Overland rack with AXS doors. Raised the rack a little bit and gave me side access to the bed.



Here it is with the doors open prior to readding my cover.

 

@shaggy135 Which one would you recommend? Does the rack attached to the bed rails? Was it a straightforward install?

 

I like them both. The KB Voodoo rack was the easier install though and yes, both mount to the bed rails. I had to modify my bed cover rails for the Xtrusion Overland rack though.

 

was the modification like fabrication or more like trimming gaskets?

 

I had to cut some notches in the bed cover side rails. Like this:
