Remember when directions came in large enough type that you could actually read them?

So many new roads have been built here since 1998, they're practically useless.

I stop 1 time a year at the rest stop at the Georgia/ Alabama State line and get a new map. And swap it out with the old one in my glove box

I grew up on Seasame Street in Tempe, AZ. No one ever believed me. When I'd say where I lived, people would ask if I knew Oscar the Grouch or Big Bird. Bastards.

Ok, so I've been nostalgia scrolling this thread and all of it is my childhood. But this hit me the hardest:1970s-huffy-bicycles.jpg
I don't remember if it was sold at K-Mart or Target but I wanted that Sigma bike so f-n bad and then one Christmas my parents got it for me and I was in heaven. Then I quickly learned that looks aren't everything because that piece of crap just fell apart in no time. Those plastic wheel covers were the first to crack and fly off. Then the front wheel fell off while I was riding it and eventually the handle bars just randomly broke off. It was a beautiful thing for a couple of months and then it all went to hell - but man-o-man I wanted it so bad.

Best selling "freestyle" bike ever haha. But for $99 just as a starter it wasn't a bad choice. Right during the wheelcovers fad didn't hurt either.

Never had one of those but I had a Huffy Thunder Road with the bread loaf seat as a kid. I still ride BMX at age 50.
