    Well, Kodiak was a success again this fall for Blacktail. Weather was about what you’d expect for there in November, aka some sort of driving wind/rain/cold just about the whole time. Saw lots of deer, shot a nice 3x3 about halfway through the hunt.

    Took a piece of back strap and cooked it up my favorite way last night: in the sous vide at 115F for about 90 minutes, hot cast iron after that for about 90 seconds, then finished with a fresh homemade chumichurri :drool:

    dewayne - forecast for NE Ohio isn't bad - snow showers tomorrow afternoon and evening thru Sunday morning. Tuesday could be a shitty drive home though - rain/snow mix.

    I forgot which county they will be hunting in......do you remember???

    I will be out tomorrow -> Monday (if needed) and will be skipping Tuesday, the last day of muzzleloader.
