    Morning all:

Sorry to hear about your furry buddy Tom, 19 1/2 is a good age for a pussy cat, I'm sure he had a good life while living with you.

Same here, they calling for a couple inches of snow and it seems like they are making a big deal out of it, our winters in NE Pa are not even close to what they were when I was a kid, even into the 70's, yea, its winter, let it snow. Now, if they were calling for maybe a couple feet of snow, I could understand the hype!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Grey and chilly, but no rain until much later. Think I am going to take the outside Christmas down, then putz and do the tree. Had fun with the online RX service - I got reenrolled, but when I put my meds back on refill, the computer decides "new clock", and is getting new RX and orders. I don't care so much about the cheap stuff, but the expensive stuff I don't need at the moment can wait! Looks like another call to India today - because you can't seem to do anything like that online!

    So sorry Tom. My condolences.

Hope you get it straightened out easily.

Morning boys. Sunny and chilly here.... good day to clean up more leaves

RIP Amigo, Tom @95SLE ! I was very sad when our last cat had to go. The three legged wonder lived a long life, and was really starting to suffer. So, now the wife finally has her dog. Pets are good for the heart and home!

Surgery yesterday went off without a hitch. New surgery center well equipped, people well trained. We arrived an hour early, the weather cleared sooner than expected. I was on a gurney in 15min. Couldn't ask for anything better, and no tv screen scrolling how late the doctor is running. About an hour, out the door.
There were 3 surgery centers on the site, one more is under construction, and land has been prepped for more. All built and operated by a large hospital in Cincinnati. I was impressed. Up at the usual time this am, antibiotic ointment, off to the coffee pot.

Good morning. Thank you for the condolences. Yesterday was strange coming in the house and no Amigo there to greet me and whine to be brushed. He had trained me pretty well. Today I have to find a laundromat to wash an old Coleman sleeping bag. The reviews of laundromat's online leave a lot to be desired. Going to make chili when I get home. Soaked the beans last night. I was going to attempt to make a Texas Red chili with beans on the side but felt it might be too spicy for the wife and son. I will use two large Ancho Chili peppers, very mild, and some bell peppers I have left over from New Years Eve. I can always add the heat to my bowl.

Chuck I might be a little weird, but I used to look forward to inventory. That was earlier in my career . Mainly because it was a chance to see all the other products that I didn't work with but that changed as I got older when we did cycle counts because we went to a computer system. Then they changed that to if you fuck something up write it down, that was to stop the cycle counts. That never happened because people didn't want to let anyone know the broke, hit it with a forklift whatever, so we were always counting stuff. They figured we would count everything 2xs before annual inventory. Then it became a pina.

Big issue with all of that here is I work for a small family owned shop. Owner lives close enough that when he needs something he has a habit of coming over and just grabbing it then not telling anybody. Hardware is the worst, we can find an entire bin of washers cleaned out on a Monday morning when we go for them. Raw materials like steel bar or tubing are always off just by virtue of what you lose when cutting it to the saw blade so that's to be expected. Our software does not allow for fractional inches so that's always being rounded up or down. Machinist might screw up a part and as you said don't bother to tell anyone they just grab another piece and start over. We also have an issue with our software where it hangs up when they run a day close report. It does all the invoicing/finance stuff first, pauses, then subtracts used stuff from inventory. Boss tells me that the next time the report is run it will catch up but I've yet to see that happen IRL. Probably the most frustrating part of my job is this time of year figuring out all the BS that is screwed up.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well the lights outside came down no problem, so I thought I'd get that RX out of the way before tackling inside stuff. Good plan, but not results. Tried to paste their list of meds into a secure message, which is the only way of reaching them in writing. Then, adding to the list the last time I got the meds, and when I really need them. It won't send. Try to copy and save - can't copy out of their system. I know if I go back, it's gone. But I do. Edit their email as plain text elsewhere, put that in, and start typing..... and halfway though my list - it just goes "poof". Then, the site just shuts down. :smash: I try all three pathways to logging in again, but it's not running. Now, I have a headache, and give up.

An hour later, they send an email. "It's too soon to refill these medicines".....about half the list. I guess the computer will catch up.

Going to pull the fender flares and re-install with the Toyota gasket while it's a nicer day. Was going to wait until after my guy blocked and cut, but what with the Covid ..... have to adjust.
