Yes, I saw that. Just pointing out the old axe that there's no appreciable difference between Chevy and GMC (and has been that way for ages).

 

I’ve had both in the 90’s , can’t remember if they were made in the same factory, they may have. Just remember the GMC’s were more expensive.

 

Still holds true today. GMC’s in my opinion have always been styled better with most models.

I donno, I'm a Chevy guy at heart, and usually prefer the '67-'72 GMs over the Ford/Mercury trucks of the same era, but that particular Ford (orange paint and coyote aside) was pretty sweet.

 

An example of the only new car I ever bought:
