It seems the only way to get a short bed automatic is with the OR Premium pkg, which is close to $70k out the door.

well, here praying 2GR sees over 500K kms and 2UZ gets me to 1 million - I am not a target market anymore I guess for Toyota

Yeah, should be interesting to see how often those rear calipers are going to be replaced after wheeling/winter/salt.
I also think this manual is cable controlled instead of direct stick, ah here we go!

100% got to buy up all the early 2000's pre "connected",......

The Type-R also has the cable shifter and so far its not had anything bad to be sais about it. Other than "its an old and odd choice" . Maybe Toyota can do it properly too.
