Now that's a proper race truck part. Goes together right with the leaky VP Racing fuel jugs.

Just got notice my order could not be fulfilled. So much for feeling good about $14.24 each.

oh this makes me laugh back when i use to race a Honda civic all the "cool guys" used the s2000 oil filters, and i used the Honda passport filter. because they worked and cost no where close to the cost of the S2000 filters. and all i wanted was more filter pleats and more oil capacity for cooling for the track.

also didn't know there was a TRD oil filter... but hey ive got almost 200k in my tacoma and just use the oem filter. so hey if it worked better cool.

^Did the S2000 guys have a hundred grand under the hood with parts overnighted from Japan?

Just buy T.P. in bulk at Costco and make your own filters. ;)

Ran the TRD filters for a long time on both my tacoma and V8 4Runner and the quality seems much higher than the regular OEM ones. Switch over to the amsoil alternative option.

No need to buy oil filters.
DIY a coffee filter on there , works even better.

Prior to switching to WIX, I used the Royal Purple 20-967, which looks to be the exact same as the VP967 (even the same model number). Other then the TRD stamp, it was identical to the OEM filter, at least on the exterior.

Switched over to WIX, since I always here good things about them.

I change my oil every 5k.

I like the TRD filters, if anyone knows where there is a stock of them, please let me know. I have 2 on the shelf but, if they are being discontinued, I would buy 6-12 of them. Not a fan of the wix filter, after looking at them. Unsure if I want to try the VP, or Amsoil filter. Help is appreciated. Ski

Buy 4 and get 15.00 off, plus free shipping. I would still like to find some new old stock of the trd branded, boxed filter PTR43-00082, if anyone knows where some are. Ski

What is the part # and average cost for the Wix filter?
I been just buying a few of the standard Toyota ones at a time online from a semi local dealership and picking them up with other stuff to I'd need soon to keep costs down.

However now that I have a Wrangler in the household too it would be nice to find a product of reasonable quality and price I could get for both in the same place. I am thinking NAPA would be a good vendor for Wix.

Something that truck filters in far lands in below -10F couldn't seem to do for all these years obviously. As someone who came here from EU due to war conflicts, I feel bad for people here sometimes. All these marketing BS and lies they pay more money for, which they worked hard for
