    Job Hunt Update:

Too many of you have been supporting me to remember who to tag, so forgive that.

I got a call back from HR an hour after the interview with the Director this morning.
They extended me an offer, with a start date of January 29.
I accepted their offer. So now my wife and I can breathe again!!

I'll once again be doing major incident management, but these folks have their shit dialed in very well, and I am told they average only 1.5 - 2 major incidents per month, as opposed to my last company, that had 2 - 4 per week. So I have been told I will have many opportunities to work on other things, and get wider visibility with long term potential to be able to move into other things if I want to.

Again - thank you all so very much for being so supportive and always checking on me :)

It was a road between what I believe were geological stations. You can see one on the top of the hill.

Good evening everyone. I didn't check in for a few days and I missed a ton. Belated Happy B-day to Andy and a Happy B-Day to @vssman. A big congrats to Tom for landing the job, I think that everyone breathed a sigh of relief for you.

We're getting ready for 0-8" of snow, or maybe some wet sleet then rain, or maybe some wet sleety/snow then ice... All I I know is that I drove through so much of the pre-treatment on the roads this morning, the underside of the T4R sounds like a fizzy glass of pop. They use the magnesium phosphate to "help" the roads, it basically helps to dissolve cars from the inside out. I hope that Mike has his snow bowers gassed up and ready to go, it sounds like a big one for the NE area.
