No UV light needed (I've never seen that)...and some vinyl or screen protector experience will be most helpful. The kit seems a bit pricey but it's quality and they give you all the accessories you need: slip solution, really nice microfiber cloth and a rubbery little squeegee. It's just a few bucks extra for a second set of the overlays (3 pieces: instrument cluster, head unit screen, and by the shifter).

Unrelated: I put protectors on all our family's phones/tablets. It's pretty cheap. Use tape to get all the dust bits and also use tape as a 'hinge'. That probably makes no sense but you know where to look for how-to videos.

Just got the OTT tune installed today by @Tuned Yota. Incredible results and well worth the money! Definitely would recommend Aaron!

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Exactly. My old 86 F150 after 13 years and using whatever rag handy to clean it, never had a scratch. Same with all my other vehicles. Horrible plastic that should have changed after 2016.

Oil and filter change and put an aluminum filter housing on. Fortunately I only have one of the for skid plates to pull.

Cheap default OEM splash guard needs to be removed. RCI and TRD Pro skid plates have an access port for the filter.

There is an insert on the back side of the RAV4 knobs that you need to remove. See below, and see if that helps.

Thanks, they are the BD Squadrons and the covers came from The Taco Garage. Couple different options to chose from for the covers.

A little spray paint to the factory skid plate and novelty tow hooks to update the appearance.

If you own that they are just for show you take all the fun out of calling them nipple rings!

Something like this will be the closest backlight match to oem from what I hear
    https://www.aironboard.com/online/b...h-12volt-toyota-oem-replacement-new-blue.html
Second choice are ones from here
    https://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-push-switch-for-toyota-tacoma-3rd-gen-roof-light-bar-symbol-2/

Watch out for sizing and be sure to get the right one for the blank you want to replace

However, like their namesakes, they are able to withstand some force, and will get the “truck” to move in most circumstances.
There aren’t suitable for very hard tugging and won’t support the full weight of what they are attached to. I linked a photo of what a “full strength recovery point” looks like in a different application.
Feel free to Google “nipple rings” in order to compare and contrast.

Finally installed my Gator soft roll up tonneau cover that came in last week. Had several of these on different brand trucks and all seem to fit nice. I can see a little sunlight creeping through the two front corners. Nothing a foam or rubber seal can't mend. Secures nicely to the existing track system as well.
