Back to work today. New work schedule for 2024 is Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every 3rd Tuesday. Stayed on dayshift 0600-1800. Only 12 more years

Those damn fronts when it is cold... And it isn't even really cold here yet this year, although single digits for highs and below zero next week. That is when I start thinking about going South for the Winter like the smart people do. The dogs keep me moving and that helps, motion is lotion or so the docs keep saying. Got up at 4 to take the dogs out. Now start packing up the shotguns and gear to shoot some heated 5 stand this morning an hour and a half drive away. Just hope I can loosen up the joints when I get there so that I can catch the targets. Even if I don't shoot well it keeps me off the couch. Good luck today and hope Uncle Arthur leaves you the hell alone for the rest of the day! And the rest of winter.

Snow on the way

 

Good morning. Grandson had a wrestling tournament last night after school. The wife and I went to watch. Started at 4:30, ended close to 11p.m.. By the time we got home and got to bed it was after midnight. Still, at 5 a.m. I found my internal clock waking me up. I guess I can always steal a nap this afternoon. Hope everybody has a good day.

 

Good morning everybody! I believe we are getting rained on today we provisioned up yesterday to sit it out in the dry. We are going to throw on a crockpot of Taco soup a little later after the coffee takes effect.

Morning Mike. is this mess suppose to head your way later? was 4-8”snow called fir. now its just a freezing rain,sleet,snow mix.

 

Suppose to be all snow.
6” to 10”.
Cold enough is should be light.
If the wind comes up some it will be perfect as it will blow off my roof.
Going to go out and blow leaves away from the stairs and driveway side of the deck.
Always swirling in that area.
Going to just putter all day and make myself useless LOL..

 

They’ve got us 8-12”, but you’re a little closer to the ocean than me. Gassed up the blower yesterday, primed, and one pull and she started! Woohoo. Ready to go.

 

I have to decide if I’m going to use the primary (Ariens) or the back up (Toro) walk behind.
Or, maybe both… LOL.
