For shits and grins I did run 2 at once. It was quite interesting.

 

One pass, done. New a retired county plow driver, let’s just say he didn’t give a S&@$ about people’s vehicles, like a badge of honor.

 

I never got more than a solid coating on the driveway, so my now blower stayed in the shed. It's starting to transition to frozen rain/ cold rain-ish shit coming down. I decided that it was a good time to cook the turkey that I got for Thanksgiving 2022. I tried to thaw it out in hopes to make NYE dinner, that didn't happen as the 14lb bird wasn't ready for the oven last week. This is my 1st time cooking a whole "sleepy chicken" in the oven, how bad could it end up??

 

2 weeks ago, as you may remember, I pulled a muscle in my calf, walking up the driveway.

Last week, I reinjured it walking up a steep trail.

Today I was walking down a step and REALLY tore the muscle.


I am back on the recliner.

 

Cook it in a bag. Helps keep it moist

You’re not that old then if you know what caused the pain de jour.

 

The Cajun marinade injection kept it super moist, I'm pretty happy with my 1st attempt at cooking a turkey in the oven. I've deep fried plenty of them, using a cooking tray and an oven is new.
