Finally had a buyer that actually showed up to get the old International this morning. Worst day of the year and the field it was in was super muddy and soft. Took my dads 76 chevy and his tacoma hooked together to get it out. Guy is going to use it as a service truck and will enjoy it for years. IMG_5368.jpg

There’s a chair in the office the desk was in, I’m gonna see if I can get it tomorrow. Didn’t have room for it in the Honda on Friday

So I've seen this massive buck twice, sitting in a community stand. Once, I shot and mustve missed, never found blood, long long shot. The other time he was moving through so quick I didnt get a shot. A legitimate swamp monster.
Our lease doe tags were expiring 1/1 and my BIL asks if he can take his younger boy down to where Ive been sitting to take a doe I've been seeing regularly. Yeh sure, I had to work Monday anyway. Well they see the doe, the 7 year old gets nervous, wont shoot. And out walks an 8 point(not swamp monster). Boom, BIL knocks him down, first time sitting there, for a total of 16 deero_O on the year. (Long story there)

I cant be mad, its a community stand but dang! First time he's sat there, 8 pointer steps out. Thats my BIL's luck. And I know if I dont hunt the monster hard, my FIL will come up here and bust him.
Moral of the story, dont tell anybody except your internet friends what you see in the woods.
