Hello folks. My USB port (the one that is used for apple carplay) is very touchy and disconnects sometimes with just a tap of the cord so I’m looking to replace it. Anyone have a part number or a link for a replacement? Thanks!

Have you had any luck resolving this? I’ve had the exact same issue for about a year now.

Negative, still having the issue. Haven’t got the part number yet to try changing it out.

So just a cable change fixed it for you? I’ve tried several different cables, but all have the same issue

I would try this cable worst case scenario your down 20. Well I also upgraded from an iPhone 12 into an iPhone15. Maps works perfectly it connects my Apple Music with no issues couldn’t be happier. The cable moves and doesn’t disconnect neither.

Before my upgrade my maps would be all delayed in the Toyota screen. I would connect my phone and the truck wouldn’t recognize that the phone was plugged in. I would try disconnecting the cable and plugging it back and nothing. It was so annoying lmao. Tried various cables too and nothing. The temporary solution was me holding the power button on the radio and it would restart the radio which would sometimes recognize my device.

Issues with my USB port also. Plugged in, my phone says it’s charging, but not recognizing car play. Any solutions to this issue would be greatfull.
FYI, I’ve tried different cords, and holding power button to restart, nothing.
