Just got this yesterday and sized it this morning...the well received Addies Dive quartz Deep sea hunter... The name makes basically no sense but I dig the watch...
No lume but 100m wr , screw down crown and a Seiko movement... And a cool desert sand face... It's a smallish watch at 36mm I believe

I find myself drawn to the less expensive these days, went through a period where it was Rolex, Omega, Tag and Hamilton and then found myself drawn to Seiko and Orient and lately Addies, Steeldive the the like. Truthfully, the toughest most long lived value I have had in a watch was a Seiko 6309-7049. My Rolex datejust had issues a few years after I bought it in new in 77 for around $340, then was stolen and moved to an Omega Seamaster Polaris, working my way through vintage Gruen and Lord Elgin, Oris and the like. These days, almost zero interest in Rolex, Omega and the like, but old Gruen Curvex and stuff like Enicar and Eterna light me up.

Just as soon have a Seiko as most anything now.

Yes. This is a Toyota forum. Not a Jaguar forum. Nor a BMW forum.
SEIKO is where it's at for those of us who live at this level of society/sophistication.

    Seiko for me as well.

I've found my happy place with the automatics. Couple hundred bucks, yet not too spendy if it encounters physical trauma. It will experience physical trauma.

I beat mine like rented mule.

I have too many other things that draw my interests away to be a collector of anything. I am a user, if I own it and dont use it, it's got to be something with serious sentimental attachment that I cant really find a use for.

Just because it's a Tacoma forum, doesn't exclude those who also have more expensive watches or other items.

Culling the herd a little. Giving this one to my son. PRS 200 Limited Edition Steven Stamkos model. I like how the face is done in skate marks on ice. Just a cool watch and beautifully made but he'll probably appreciate it more than me. He's lives and breathes hockey.

AGREE! I was just being argumentative and envious of those who are rocking Omegas and Rollies. I'm burdened with too many SEIKOS for one man to manage.

 Most cases it isn't the cost, but rather the meaning behind the watch. whether it's a 5-dollar watch, or 50k watch, I find the meaning behind it the most important. On this site, I enjoy reading the stories behind the watch the most..... .

I bought a Tag Heuer back in the early 90's that I still wear and have always had a soft spot for them, a great under rated watch.
