nothing but freezing rain here. Daughter made it in about 1am this morning from Cincy.
so far rain all around us until you get in the mountains or up towards Columbus.

IF you live rural? in an area with wind, flooding, lots of trees & tornados? (we do)
a whole house genny is the way to go. Wife had never had a genny or been in a house that did.
once we had an ice storm that knocked the power out for 2 weeks & another time we had almost 3 weeks in august with no power & 90/90 heat/humid..... THEN she finally understood why i always have genny's at my home. Now she wont let us live in a house that doesnt have one.

Its super handy when you actually need it & a real home value addition in our area if you have a professionally installed set up.

drawback: if you are a DIY'er in our area? it has to pass an inspection to qualify for insurance coverage on your home. IF you dont have it on file & your house burns down..... you get ZERO!!

we just recently upgraded to a newer, more fuel efficient & high output unit. The old one worked fine, but man the new one is soooo much quieter & sips the propane running the house, shop & even the hottub!

    stay dry & warm today!

On top of wind, the weather guessers didn't mention a spattering of rain to go with it...bastages! I gotta get my flatops cleaned and covered and my ice chests drained and cleaned before this crap starts. Worst part is the rain will probably be just enough to get everything wet and look like crap when it dries.

    Quick driveway clean.
Going to start up again soon.
Love it with a wind in the right direction.
My snow ends up in neighbors front lawn instead of mine …lol

Got most of it knocked out or headed in the right direction so it won't be much work later. If this lets up today I'll finish it up.

If my dogs ever had to relocate east they wouldn't know what to do. They're so spoiled that just a little rain keeps them from going outside until they're doing the tippy toe dance. Can't imagine how belly deep snow would traumatize them.

The females squat so their nunu’s dip into the cold snow… I shovel an area for the dog.
