Good Morning Everyone Have a Great Sunday.
We got about 3/4'' of snow out of the system that went through, but we got down into the single digits looks like about 8* on my thermometer. We might be getting back to normal seasonal temperatures. I was beginning to think it would be like living in Arkansas. But after last winter this was needed for the wild life population. There were several friends I know that never filled their deer tags, they said they never seen anything out there.

Good morning Tom, just remember to print a page very often, like every month, otherwise the ink head will dry out and the printer will be useless.

We've been going to the library since our HP Laserjet 1020 became "unsupported" by Windows. It was a fine little printer and I used it to print book manuscripts so it was used probably more than most printers were used. Loved it because it was simple and easy and did the job.

So I bought something from Amazon and it was HUGE and turned out to be so complicated that we just don't want to even hook it up. And we've procrastinated long enough that we can't return it.

I don't want a color printer. A single color, black, printer is surprisingly hard to find.

@Travlr I had my HP Laser for years. Boat anchor, but Windows 10 didn't have drivers. I went with a smaller HP1606, which is now obsolete. Next B&W laser printer will be a brother:
    https://www.tomsguide.com/us/best-laser-printers,review-6324.html

I am still slowly purging everything in the house. The goal is to move as little as possible, and my grandmother's old saying, "Put stuff in a box, date it, and if you haven't looked in the box for over a year, donate it." I'm finding more junk than I imagined, tossing, donating, and getting rid of it. I'll keep my slide rule, HP41C (still working fine after 43 years!), and pass my CURTA to my son.

It looks like a sunny 60F day; I need to mow the lawn. Got to love Texas, mowing lawns in January.

I have the Epson color inkjet and this was the sencond inkjet printer I purchased after the ink cartridges dried out on the first one although I have not printed any page of color printing during its entire lifespan. I learned that these inkjet printer uses the ink to conditioning the tips everytime the printer starts.
I quit buying inkjet printer after my second one dried out ink cartridges; I bought a mono color laser printer and it serve my needs.
My color inkjet printer is now my scan machine only.

I really didn't like throwing the old HP 1020 away. It still did everything I wanted right up until Windows quit supporting it and had been dependable and easy to use.

So thanks for the link. I'm going to run into town and see what the local office supply store has because I'm tired of buying things that have no customer support. And I'm taking the model # of the less expensive Brother printer with me.

    Morning all:

Done with the morning workout of snow blowing!
Opened up paths to the coal bin, the small shed, the burn pit, the garbage can, and the big garage, then did the driveway and cleared along the road for the mailman to access the mailboxes, using the snowblower is a lot easier than trying to shovel all the things I need to access, especially when there's a heavy wet snow like this one.
    THEN there's this! :annoyed:

Hi folks! I had to watch the Lions game. No snow here, and was a very pleasant morning in Pflugerville! A lot of folks were out, and the spectator lot filled fast, so people paraded and parked anywhere they could. Followed the Ferrari you'll see, and a Tesla Cybertruck in. I finally figured out what it looks like; end of the last century, late model, no wing, pavement super modified - that hasn't made it to the paint shop. Except on steroids! Interesting as they are, I think it's mostly fugly - compared to the Rivian - it's just not a comparison! Rivian I got close ups from the SA C&C last year has features, cubbys, nice interior. Cyber truck has stainless steel, no discernable features, and an interior that looks like a 90's office cubicle that spared every expense. BUT, that's just my stupid opinion! Meanwhile, on with the show! Two posts as usual.

Part the Two! I was gonna say the low sun angle is kind of an issue sometimes, but....I really wanted a pic of the two Corvair motors that were there - but they sit so far down, and are as flat as a pancake! No good shot. Oh well, on we go....

Looks like mud or dirt on the Cybertruck. That’s not what those are designed for!! Hope you told them that. ;)

    Plain Jane - Bare bones
That Cybertruck tho. smh. It looks like it was designed by someone that doesn't understand vector drawing. And yes...it does look strange with dirt/mud on it. Wonder if Safeline is stocking those windshields.
Edit to add. Yes I am over 60. I was told 61 is the new 58
