Plowed for I think 6 hrs in Attleboro. Depending on how the storm goes might be back out there

 

Still coming down steadily over here. I'm guessing around 15" on the ground right now

 

Only use I have for this shit, would be wheeling... makes life interesting...

In fact was doing that with my Jeep 7 years ago today.. In a storm...

 

Do I need to get in my 2 wheel drive pickup truck and do a wellness check on your house? Haha

 

Wow! I haven't measured but we have maybe half that if I had to guess. It was probably 5" when I cleared it around noon, but it hasn't stopped yet.

 

Maybe I was a bit early in saying it was a bust but it isn't as much as we thought we were going to get!

 

We are getting more snow now then we did yesterday. Have about 3" of actual snow as now.

 

I heard the worst of it was supposed to be overnight, but definitely getting more now.

 

Just left Worcester. They got a decent amount. Also they randomly plow.

 

Make sure you remove any weight you put in the bed. We don't need to reduce your fuel economy.

 

I did take a few pounds of snow out of the bed if that helps

I think the tally is 17" by my house. My girlfriends car is like 2x as tall now.

They havent really plowed my street much, made getting in/out to go skiing pretty fun to be honest. It was about a 2' embankment for me to drive through to get onto my street tonight. Surprising how easy that was tbh

I was kind of pissed as I woke up with about 10" of snow and got to the mountain that only had gotten like 4" so far. It started to come down heavy and stayed that way during my time there, made for a really fun, soft day

 

We went up lake George, over to Rutland, and down 7 today looking for views. Just south of Hague had the most I saw at very nearly 1' but otherwise it was manageable all day. Tires did way better than I thought they would, almost aired down to 25 before we left expecting them to suck but they caught traction no problem all day, very impressed looking forward to more snow!

 

Got called back to plow. Think I clocked in like 11 hrs

 

I went snowboarding at Wachusett this afternoon/evening. We saw 6 accidents on the way there. People really drive like idiots. There was a few inches of snow, slush and ice on 495 and people try to drive like it’s dry pavement. My daughter took a few photos from the back window. One Infinty coupe hit the guardrail head on and was on fire. At least he could keep warm while waiting for a tow.

 

The old saying four-wheel-drive does not equal four wheel stop… Also all wheel drive.
I can't imagine how much wachusett charges now but skiing until 10 o'clock with the lights was always great

 

just means 4 wheels to slide if you drive like a shit for brains.

 

There was another full size pick up off the road and into a fence right before a stop sign. Most likely going fast and slammed on the brakes to stop and went right in the ditch. Most of the idiots were driving sedans and hatch backs though. It’s amazing how many of them were riding my ass or zooming past while I was going 45-50 mph with snow tires and in 4 wheel drive.

 

I remember about 8 years ago driving to the Palladium in Worcester in a blizzard..about an hour from the house we met at turned into 2.5 hours, mostly highway. I drove careful and eventually saw several dump trucks with plows ahead. Made me laugh to watch people passing them..WTF, behind the plow is the safest part of the road in that it's just been cleaned. Of course I kept a good distance away and all that. Especially humourous to see one of those fools end up spun out as I predicted one would do.
