The vehicle was leaking coolant, driving to your shop could cause more complications, that's part of the reason I seek for local help.
I ended up fixing it myself, not a big deal man!
To each their own, I thought to tear down and upgrade the suspension of the truck would be much larger compare to replace a truck water pump, and I could be mistaken!

Glad you got it fixed. I can vouch for Dave, he's the most trustworthy, competent and fair independent mechanic I know. He's done work on my Tacoma and F150. I understand his situation with not taking on too big of jobs. I'd rather have him say that then get over his head and get stuck on something. I'm a independent Handyman and I used to do pretty much all the work on my vehicles also but Dave knows a lot more about cars then I do. The point is If a customer asked me to do more then I'm comfortable with I refer them to other contractors that I know. Same situation. Thanks Dave, I'll be calling you when were ready to do the timing belt on my wifes Acura MDX.

I really appreciate you man. You explained exactly how it is. You can't take on every job that comes through, no matter how enticing it may be. You know I'll be ready for ya when you are ready. Thank you.

    Cheers. :hattip:

Had the pleasure of installing this Tacoma lift front to back. Bilstein 6112 that I assembled, JBA UCA, 5160 rear, ECGS bushing, Icon AAL. I ensure the parking brake cable is attached properly. A lot of places just leave the parking cable dangling or zip tied on.

My Daytona 3 ton jack failed mid repair. I went to harbor freight and upgraded to the daytona super duty.

Make sure you bleed the air out of it! It's in the instruction manual. I blew mine out after only 3 months. I'm 99% sure it's because I didn't bleed it.

Yeah they gave me some credit towards the new one thankfully.

You open this bleeder screw and pump the jack 10-15 times. The jack handle needs to be in the loose position, as if you are lowering the jack. You can download a PDF of the instructions. Just Google daytona 3 ton instruction manual.

Have been doing a lot of 4runners lately. I really appreciate all the folks that have trusted me to work on their rigs. I take pride in my work quality. Here are some recent projects in the last couple of weeks.

Been busy working on them Teeyodas. If anyone needs lift kit installs, mechanic work or modifications let me know.

One spark plug was loose from the factory on this 3rd gen. Change them spark plugs on time, or early like this gentleman did.

Icon RXT leaf pack assembled by me to stage 3. Bilstein 5160. Nice set up for sure! Truck was sagging in the back and now is sitting much better.

Had Dave install my shims to fix my pinion angle on my taco, he has to be the most thorough mechanic I’ve ever met but most importantly he’s a genuine good dude can’t say enough good things about him or his work
