If it really arrives with an 18 gallon main tank, you can bet there will be plenty of gas cans for legit overlanders.

Don’t care how people live their lives, but when it comes to environmental stuff…don’t see how any of it is going to make a difference when the population is exploding. Here we are installing LED lights throughout the house, getting efficient appliances, my wife’s commute is only 3/4s of mile, eat organic food, reduce, reuse, recycle…then look over the fence at my neighbor’s gross excess…and think what is the fucking point!? lol!

People thinking EVs are going to help are a bit naive.

Used to be a quasi-environmentalist, then one day realized it is all bullshit. The move to EVs is just the never ending march of insatiable consumerism.

It is a bit odd, heavy marketing to the overland crowd, the whole point is traveling around to remote places, then reduce the range. The Tundra has a 22 gallon tank for the base trim, would think they could have shoe horned that in there.

Anyone that spends time in the woods and streams knows we are fucked. There is so much plastic polluting our environment it’s grotesque.

For our American friends: in Vancouver the total tax on a US gallon is about $2 in US currency.

This, and various subsidies from the Provincial and Federal governments, is why hybrids and EVs are more popular than elsewhere.

Apropos of this thread, I would not be surprised if a Maverick-fighter is introduced sooner than later by Toyota.

Are you new to the Internet? Its a place where adults can share ideas. If you weed through it, there are good thoughts and points. Example. The small tank. It maybe worth holding off until they realize its a shit idea.

Have you read the 3G topic about ToyotaCare service? Bunch of entitled pricks there, with few that are aware that everyone has to start somewhere and it's usually doing LOF's.

Those guys never screw up either, riiiiiight?

Small private shops are usually hacks. Nice thing about taking it to the dealer is, if the Green Horne does screw up, it’s on the dealer. Was in getting mine done, and another guy was in there who screwed up his own oil change, cross threaded the cartridge or something, they told him sorry but you are at fault not Toyota, we can fix it though. People trying to save a few bucks usually ends up costing them more, much more.

I grew up working on vehicles, over it now and have no problem paying someone else to do it.

Doubt Toyota will fix it. Maybe in the 5 year refresh, by then BEVs will be rolling out.

Guess you never hung out in a garage and shoot the shit, talk about anything and everything. And talk about the vehicle(s) here and there. More to life than just vehicles. If it upsets you there is always the ignore button. Haven’t really read anything from you of substance pertaining to the 4G, you even get specs and Toyota’s reasoning why they do certain things wrong.

We are obviously interested in the truck, but also like to pick it apart. Not sure if I’ll get one, really need to test drive it myself, and might not be enough truck by the time I buy, not even sure if the Tundra is. All depends on how big the travel trailer is my wife picks.

Until someone owns the new truck, there is little else to talk about.

We could talk about the ridiculous price of NVIDIA stock.

Not if you know how to evaluate them.

Same with any other shop. Dealers are also going to charge you a 100% markup on every part, charge you for work they never performed, lie about work that needs to be done, and pull every scheissty trick in the book to extract the most amount of money out of you possible.

We’re talking $1500 O2 sensor replacements, $150 cabin air filter replacements, $25 tire top offs, etc. I’ve seen so much highway robbery.

    YMMV depending on many factors.
