the ground is solid because everything else that runs from the blue sea fuse block is operational and they all use the same grounds

i feel i may need something between the batteries and the biolite to generate the power that the biolite can draw. I am not sure if it can actually initiate the draw itself on a stand alone battery

So i question if you are getting 120w off the cig lighter but it doesnt get full power out of the other configurations. There will be a minimum input voltage to get full 120w power. Please check your fuse and connections for high resistance. Measure voltage right at input to the biolite

Input on the Biolite should be 12-30v. Unless your battery is flat dead, it should have plenty to charge it.

one of these days I'll do this too... I still don't have one. But have been lucky to not need one.

Okay, post multi-meter voltage check update. i have checked the voltage at different parts of the system and below are the findings:

    Distribution block - 11.4v
Blue sea fuse block - 11.4v
Anderson plug on biolite 12v cig adapter - 11.4v

at this point, i am even more confused. Looks like volts are passing through

    diagram for reference

Is this with it plugged into the biolite and charging and drawing current?

You will never read a voltage difference with no current flowing through. You need to be plugged in and reading voltage.

Check when the engine is running. Alternator should be charging the system to 14v or more.

You need to charge the system with a higher voltage otherwise it will do nothing.

Is this lead acid an Aux Battery, or your truck's starting battery? 11.4 is a dead battery. Did you test at the battery by chance?

I think my batteries aren’t being charged enough or properly by my vehicle 7 prong plug. Thus, they are depleting and thats why i see low voltage and wattage.

I feel i need a DC/DC charger onboard my vehicle and ran to the trailer batteries. This will make charging from the vehicle (main charging source) more efficient and actually valid

I didn't realize this was in a trailer.

Have you thought of buying a voltage booster for your truck?

I agree running a DC-DC on it's own circuit from Starting Battery to your trailer will be best.

2nd Gen Tacos usually don't put out 14v unless you have a voltage booster or aftermarket alternator. Not sure I hit 14 even with my booster.
