    O

I watch a couple of them. Looks pretty straight forward for a fork seal fluid change service.

Wasnt feeling a longer ride this weekend, been kinda out of it, did manage to run some errands on the XT225 and put new bearings on the static balance stand as a Pilot Road 5 rear tire showed up for the super tenere.

The XT225 seems to have a SMIDGE of a hickup way high in the rpms at WOT. Its possible its running a bit lean so ill throw in the next notch larger main jet and see if that sorts things.

The carb got a fresh OEM rebuild kit when I went through it(mikuni) including new needle n seat. Float height set at spec of 15mm (with the float just touching the tip of the fuel needle but not compressing).... but fuel level seems to be too high when measured via clear tube outside of the carb which would normally make things run a bit rich, but the spark plug seems slightly lean. Needless to say NO harm in me going up a jet to richen WOT up. Everywhere else though the thing is SPOT on.

Oh man, this looks fun! I'll look into it more and maybe participate! I just want a T-shirt as well. :D

I installed the heated grips on the Super Tenere on Friday. It's 36 degrees today and I have to ride to work. Good timing, I guess!

I need to upload my installation video on it but I kind of don't want to because I recorded my ugly face in it. :anonymous:

He's got two of these chained to it... pretty sure angle grinder would cut those in about 2 seconds each, lol.

they use bicycle forks all the time. Saw a pic recently with 3 forks setup as 3 individual legs.

Ordered a skid plate for the KLX . I had an emperor skid plate on the 22 which was around $180. Didn’t want to spend that much so got one off Amazon for $80 bucks
Two more wants for the bike are gear indicator and seat concepts seat.

Well shit went on a little spending spree. So I order the skid plate along with a gear indicator and I bought the seat concepts comfort seat.
So I think that’s it for the KLX mods.

they usually require either a 1 piece leather suit, or a two piece that can zip together. that way the jacket doesn't ride up and you expose your back if you slide feet first. Most will also require a helmet with DOT and ECE/Snell Certification, gauntlet gloves, and tall boots. You may just need to buy a leather jacket that can pair with your pants. If your pants don't have a zipper, i'd just get a tailor to sew one into both that'll line up lol.

I'd also recommend a back proctector, personally. Never too safe.

Depends....how often do i have to get them serviced...
