I think it's because we can all relate so well, we were mostly raised on that mentality as kids because our parents didn't know any different.

    Oh for damn sure

I wasn't allowed to cry growing up as a kid; dad being an infantry soldier said I can't show weakness and that stuck life-long

Buuuuut I've learned a lot about empathy over the years (still am) cause I've been actively trying to break that stigma

People that lurk from time to time think we might be real assholes towards one another without realizing we've got each other's back more than most would think

@Ozark_RegCab @Kwikvette I'm proud of the way our member wheeled his 1st Gen through the Ozarks this weekend. He drove up slick rocks and the wet clay hill climb like a pro. I had to be winched up the rocky ledge along with a GX470. His truck is the perfect size to get through the narrow passes. He is a great addition to a chill group of Toyota off-roaders. You're in the cool kids club now.

do you weigh yourself then weight yourself holding it, and get the difference?

that's how I would weigh Sofia when she was a baby up till maybe 2 years old because we could never get her to go on the doctor's scale

    Hell yeah, breaking him in!

He's going to realize just how capable that truck is finally (and in the back of his mind, realize how much easier an 80 series would've made it lol)

    That's legit

Our scale measures as little as 10lbs, and I used to test it since last year with Biscuit as she was still a puppy so we wanted to see gains

She's peaked at 18.8lbs, and the scale shows it

So I step on the scale to turn it on, lay the box on it, and weigh my packages

The dino box I just sent was 13lb 6 oz, I had weighed it on the scale at 13.4 so yep, on point!

How much does Sofia weigh now? I use the baby bathtub with built-in scale for Theo

I'm not sure her weight right now, we did just get it when she was sick at the doctor a month ago but I can't remember...

when she was still 3 back in October we measured her height and she was at 42", which is above the average tall height for girls that age so she's still on track to be really tall. But Rebecca said she was always the tallest as a kid until high school where she stopped growing and everyone else shot up lol. So we'll see.

    @Ozark_RegCab

One of the group members (my buddy Jay T. who couldn't make) lives in his area in NWA is outfitting a nice workshop for friends to use when they need to make a repair in a real shop.

Apartment Complex problem may be solved.

There is one i pass on my way to work a few times a week. One of the ugliest trucks ever made.
My parents had a 92 Dakota with the 5.2 that truck was solid. it was super easy to work in the engine bay. I had the same motor on a 95 jeep grand Cherokee. It was the beigest POS they cammed the motor in building the jeep around it. It made genial maintenance a weekend project.

I always liked this styling of Dakota, not sure what generation it is. It's the one I had, but it had the shitty 2.5l 4banger in it and even with the 5 Spd manual it couldn't outrun a wheelchair. Going up any kind of hill in a neighborhood required a running start, it was that bad.

The v8/RT ones I'm sure were much more enjoyable lol
