Going to try the 100g 6.5 in the creedmoor, 120g 7mm and 50g 223 for the Contender. The 38 cal FTX should make a nice batch of HD and the 170g 35cal soft points for 35 Whelen hog hammers.

Not really. I’ve been told by people who know more than I do that if you don’t engage it, it will never “accidentally” lock. It can easily be disabled by a gunsmith, but I doubt I’ll ever bother.

I was looking at this and a Colt King Cobra and the trigger on the 686 was much better to me.
