2D cad is nice, it can be expressed so simply

 

Everyone has their limit how much they can tolerate. I got nervous around a quarter million. That's a lot of money on my income and projected income.

I've already gotten specialized in the industry, sure no paper to prove it. Limited on industry here in the valley so no reason to gamble on changing now.

 

Y'all have student loans?

We just paid off my lady’s ride and are about to pay off mine. Student loans are next after that, but we still have the mortgage and a HE loan.

Whatever.

 

Wife has student loans; since her sudden leave (you remember the whole thing early last year) she couldn't finish her Master's. She's literally half a class away from getting her degree but since she can't return until this next coming Summer, she had to start paying back her student loans...OOF.

They'll go back to deferred once she's in her doctorate program but yeah, I hear ya on the student loan part.

Your wife must feel like a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. That payment being gone means MORE BEER

 

I mean at least I got an ok degree out of it.

What blows my mind is getting a degree and not using it, only to go further in debt for a degree in something else

 

Then again I never went to college

 

I'm sure a lot of you all know people like this, probably people you went to school with

 

I don't even really use mine, just got my foot in the door.

I'm not as bad off as some at least. I went to a cheap state school and finished without taking more than 4 years and i never did summers. Was as cheap as it could be while still attending a 4 year university full time. I've got friends that went to major schools and don't use their expensive 5-6 year degrees.

In school loans, definitely not total.

 

I know a guy I went to ACCD with, got his BFA from there which at the time totaled just north of $110k (no idea if he used loans or what).

Then decided wanted to drop photography and wanted to become a dentist and went to dental school, which I'm sure is comparably if not more expensive.

He did become a dentist though from what I can tell on social media, and I know they make pretty damn good money once established.

But damn, talk about an expensive change of mind

 

Oof, yeah my cousin is a dentist and it's definitely not cheap

And she works a shit ton of hours (and just announced she's having her 3rd kid)
