Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
    Funny, it was AB plates.

I live with a lot of road muck and while I like a clean shiny car, I'm not willing to put as much effort into it. So for me the store bought ceramic/SiO2 (which is quite a different product than the professional stuff) is perfect as it takes 10 minutes apply and lasts a few months. I've even been known to take it through an automatic car wash with brushes (scary stuff!).

If you want to keep perfect paint, listen to these folks that do it all up right and don't listen to me (and avoid the auto car washes).
If you just want to keep it cleaner and shinier than pretending you have time to wax it but never find the time, try the store bought "ceramic" stuff as it's super easy to apply in minutes works pretty well.

You complain bitterly about $100 floormats as if it ruined your purchase experience. Floormats are easily replaced, often people change brands because they did not like the first aftermarket brand they purchased.

You will have much more grief over install instructions for sliders and bed-racks, or much more concern about buying a hard-top instead of a soft-top because of suspension changes you need for leafsprings or airbags in the rear.

You have not even begun your frustrations and hard decisions.

I did Husky Liners last week, and installed a SaBellCo tailgate lock on my '23 SR V6 tonight. The SaBellCo lock on my 2015 SR saved my tailgate at least once that I know of, so this was a must on my new Tacoma.

CaliRaised cat shields are next, as soon as they ship the next batch some time next month.

How much does it weigh? You can get a four point hoist for Jeep Wrangler hard tops pretty cheap.

The tent weighs in at about 165 lbs— I don’t have the room in the garage to do a four point hoist unfortunately haha.

Thanks. I re-read my original post. It wasn't intended to be bitter. I look forward to enjoying the ride.

Well I should have installed my diode dynamics SS3 sport fogs, but some ass hat stole them off my porch.. :annoyed: Now I have to wait seven days for an investigation. There is nothing worse than a thief.
