you can go back to the OEM tire size if you want, the only difference between OEM and what you have on there now is the aspect ratio, aka sidewall height. So if you go back to OEM, the tires will have a smaller diameter than your current ones, but they'll fit just fine. May look a bit off with the spacer lift and any other lift you do in the future, but that's personal preference.

Thanks. I wasn't really considering it, just wanted to learn. I don't know much about lifts and was just trying to figure out what mods the original owner made.

Thanks. I'm already worried about being a member here, I have already ordered the headlight harness and I'm itching to pull the trigger on a new rear view mirror with the thermometer.

Don't worry about being a member and just go with the flow. Lots of good people here. I learned a lot from them and got in on some great group buys.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
The spacer lift up front is cosmetic. It doesn't do anything other than bring the front up a little. Trucks should have a little rake where the front is a touch lower than the back for aerodynamics (ergo better mpg) and because if you use it like a truck and haul any weight in the back the weight will bring the back down a touch and naturally level the truck. But most people haul air in the back and have to "lift" the front to get a level look.

As for larger tires...keep in mind anything larger than stock will cause your spedometer to be off a little bit and give you a tiny bit less gas efficiency. Most don't care but it is something to be aware of. Your speedometer may show 65 but you may actually be going 63. There's calculators online that can show you the mental math adjustment you have to make depending on tire size vs stock.

I have the same truck and currently have 235k on the odometer. I did the bigger tire thing for a bit and went back to stock. The headlight harness mod is tempting but I found I can get pretty good light output from quality bulbs. The rear view mirror with direction and temp is worth it. Definitely check the secondary air intake pump filter and put a Uni Filter on it instead: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/secondary-air-pump.700627/

And definitely get the outie Lexus front differential plug to replace the innie stock plug. 100% worth it. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/front-diff-drain-plug-alternate-oem-part.604989/

Otherwise, keep an eye on Craigslist and marketplace for take-off suspension parts from gen 2s and gen 3s so you can nab some new stuff to have on hand when you need to replace what you have.

Thanks for the tips. I immediately thought of the speedometer with the bigger tires and it was off a little. I don't remember if it was 2 or 3 mph at 70 mph. The odometer is off, too.

Going to change that filter, too.

Back to those spacers, if I wanted to remove those, is that a big job?
