I might drive it over a pit at work, loosen the 3 control arm bolts on each side, rock the truck side to side to work the suspension and then retorque everything. And while I rock it have a co-worker underneath listening for sounds and watching for odd movements.

Yeah IDK man, they work fine for most it seems.

I have a severe lean on the drivers side now, with some intense metal sounds when the suspension moves. I think the assembly is shot now. I guess light street driving is too much for these, I dont know anymore. I havent adjusted the replacement set that I got, or taken them offroad. Just some grandpa level street driving.

I think I will just have to cut my losses and move on to a different brand unfortunately.

I have no problem with the setup itself but I do have more noises than I did before the install. Rear started squeaking like crazy even at slow speeds sounds like an old truck.

I was deciding between those two as well. I watched a video on YouTube from Overland Outfitters where they did a blind test of a few different shocks. Although they didn’t test the Eibachs, they dogged the fox’s so bad that it put me off and I went with the 2Rs. Very happy with them.

Funny I saw that exact video which made me look into the eibachs too don’t do enough with the truck to drop money on kings or icons. I already have the 1.0 for like 50k approx so they’re still good I think

    @Speedfreak

Alright so, going to test something tomorrow.

Issue is, that the assembly (out of the box) "tops out" extraordinarily easy.

What I'm going to do, is adjust the top nut an equal amount as the adjustment collar, which (should) balance the amount of down/up travel.

I need to check a bit more to double check that nut is in fact for the main shaft, and adjusting it just changes where it sits "neutral" at, however if that's the case I should be able to give it a tiny bit more down travel in exchange for less up travel.

I did some testing and wasn't able to get them to "bottom out" on the compression movement, only on the expansion movement.

I'm going to raise the nut and equal amount on the collar as well as the center rod, probably just a 1/4 inch. Should give ~ 1/2 more room before the assembly "tops out."

    Update:

    Replaced lower shock bolt.

    Loosened /retorqued body mounts

    Replacing radiator support bushings today

No change on the sound. Still very present.

Regarding the top nut, there is not enough thread to adjust top nut.

I did adjust the driver's side up a couple turns to level the front, which greatly helped with the taco lean.

Looks great, I just go really easy over bumps now as to mitigate the shock topping out on down travel.

I currently have 1.5" blocks in the rear, and notice that the leafs @ 60k miles are getting a bit sad. Next order of business is looking out for an ICON RXT leaf pack sale, or going with Deavers.

    FL 22 3/4
    FR 22 3/4
    RL 22 1/5
    RR 23

    Pretty dialed in now

Had a front fail after about 1.5 years. Started hearing a constant clunk, noticed a puddle of oil on the ground.
