GX550 is full-time 4WD, so that already zaps some MPG in your comparison to the Tundra which is a part time system.
It is also a blocker design and the windshield is a lot more vertical than the Tundra/Sequoia. My guess is that it also has a worse coefficient of drag.

These two things are going to have a big impact on MPG, and that is probably the whole story of the MPG difference. (Also the MAX powertrain of that Sequoia and the Tundra TRD Pro are boosting their MPG numbers a little)

Under seat storage is so-so in the Collie, get tailgate storage though. Trail Boss still is the better buy.

Just enough space to store the extra cash.

Much better deals than here. I’m going to need to wait until summer to buy there. There is 1500 miles of snow to drive though now. Summer I can take my time and enjoy the sights.

Full-Time 4WD in the Tacoma doesn't appear to hurt mpg too much, 20/23/21 vs 19/24/21 for a 4x4 SR5. It will be interesting to see the mpg difference between the 550 and the new LC.

The LC will get better because it it only comes with the iForce Max 2.4T.

That is a good point though about the Full Time 4WD not seeming to hurt the Tacoma MPG numbers.

Did they release a MPG chart that has the full time 4wd MPG for the Tacoma. As far as I know it is only one trim..I must have missed that one as well.
