Well gents wifes Subaru started having a parasitic drain, been searching, started again after Christmas and the radio swap. Doing research guess this has started to happen recently. She was done so she wanted to trade it in on a new truck, then she says I drive the taco you take the new trucknot my first full size but first gmc.
Looked at the tundra but wasn’t feeling it.
It really rides nice and took it on the road trip yesterday was hitting 21 mpg on the trip.
not bad for a v8 4x4

Likely got sent back to China for further development after they slap the Tested in ‘Merica sticker.

Hah, ironically a parasitic draw was the first issue for our '19 Subaru. Apparently with the 3G network shutting down it kept trying to phone home constantly and drain the battery. Part was on an unobtainable backorder so the dealer pulled the fuse. Unfortunately the front door speakers no longer worked so the sound system sucked.

Then the engine developed a nasty oil leak. Like 1/2 a quart in under 2000 miles. Subaru pulled the engine and re-sealed it. I still have that oil stain on my garage floor.

Not a month after getting it back from the dealer the CVT was starting to act up.

Nope, nope, I was done. Traded it in on a 2023 Camry. No more Subaru's for me.

 

Mr. @six5crèéd would you ever consider taking a silly request for some metal banjo finger picks for a lady with kid-size hands? If my new picks don't fit, I may be hard pressed to find anything that works.
