Finallly pulling the trigger on a suspension on my '19 Tacoma. I've been doing a lot reasearch on suspension and have finally come to two suspension. Now I would love to hear from those who have had or have any experience with either the Dobinsons MRR3 or the OME BP51?
    Thanks !!

Got Dobinsons MRR kit. Went with 110 leafs + 302 coils on my 19 Access Cab w 50k miles. This added 2” at each corner. No change to control arms or bearings. 265/70-17 tires. Have about 1,000 miles on it. Truck drives much better on road, absolutely incredible on broken or poor pavement and off road! Feels “linear” vs stock off-road suspension which was digressive. No more bottoming out! Nice to have the adjustments for different driving conditions/weight.

    Sure.

    Here are some quick comparisons.

OME offer 1 front coil spring, Dobinsons have 8, and 3 colors of each, so technically 24
MRR/MRA have 3 levels of valving adjustment, BP's have 2. (High and Low speed compression and rebound adjustment, versus high speed compression and rebound adjustment)
Dobinsons have 2 rear shock options, including the extended travel option. BP's have 1
Last I checked, MRA's were less expensive, but ARB keeps raising their prices a few times a year.
Dobinsons front struts are very easy to adjust, the resi has the high and low speed compression adjuster on it and no tool is needed for it, and the rebound adjuster is on the top of the strut, and bottom of the shock. Most will tell you that adjusting BP's is quite difficult and has to be done with a tool underneath the vehicle.

The reviews on here will give you good indication of what people do/don't like about the parts. There are a lot of Dobinsons users here on the forum too, and some have their own threads.

I usually am an advocate for OME, however, I’d choose Dobinsons MRR. Rode in a buddy’s 3G with setup recently installed (2,000 miles) , pavement, trails, some packed snow (4 inches or so) and it just seemed jumpy, with body roll and little absorbtion. He did also have OME UCA and seemed to show some play? Just seems like a big price to pay and not be satisfied
