    Still raining here and I'm hoping things still hold out here. Snow on the ground still melting too. Just checked the sump pit in the basement and there isn't any water in it yet. Although it smells very "earthy" so I turned the fan up higher on the de-humidifier/radon filter. Just heard a call on the scanner for flooding up the road, so that's got me a little concerned. Also trying to use less water as I can as I know the septic field has to be getting saturated by now. I have 20' of pipe extending the gutter drains on each end of the house as well. Normally the rain water diverts to the cistern, but it's full and I'm pretty sure the overflow goes into the weeping system. I do not want that at all. Looks like I have a fun digging project in the Spring/Summer.

    We went from no rain to being very moist. The damnest thing...
